Rating by category:
Excellent location for seeing the main tourist part of Baeza, all with easy walking distance. Nice room of good size.
Restaurant was a bit disappointing - some food was processed/tinned e.g. soup, vegetables. Coffee at breakfast was poor - from a machine and unlike the typical spanish coffee found in bars.
Very comfortable friendly central hotel
Parking difficult 'Need to use hotel car parkiing at additional cost
Excellent location just of the main square in Baeza with plenty of shopping & restaurants. Great walking tour of historical palaces & churches. Hotel has great common areas to relax in and rooms have large bathrooms with tub shower and hair dryer. Nice place to stay off the typical tourist track.
The very professional hotel staff.
Entry poor designed for people with baby stroller. Had to carry the stroller up and down the stairs quite a few times, what made it worse was traffic passing by that same entry at only 2 to 3 feet distance. Left me with a painful lower back, could be a problem for other people. There was lift/platform for people in wheelchairs but I was not allowed to use it for the baby stroller. Still, it was the only downside.
Excellent reception & good restaurant
location, breakfast, hydromassage tub in bath
we had requested a quiet room. We paid for a superior room and were lodged in rm 101; unable to sleep through the night because of noise from outside. In addition, could clearly hear conversations in adjoining room.We were spending nearly a week and enjoying leisure time. Room was spacious but had no chair for reading and only a bench without back support to facilitate use of desk for reading or writing.
Location excellent for the cultural and historic sights. Helpful and friendly staff. Ample comfortable seating areas for guests. Good selection for buffet breakfast and Menu del dia good value.
If disabled, no ramp at front entrance although there is a stair lift up the steps.
Perfectly located, comfortable room.
Early in the morning (5am) there was very loud shouting in the street, waking us up. Waiters did not speak english!
The fact that one can leave the car in the hotel garage, because everything worthwhile visiting is within walking distance.
Decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant on 12/10, and were told that we could not eat a la carte: only a set menu was available - which was not bad, but certainly not excellent...
Excellent value-accommodation & food
Excellent location very close to the main square in Baeza and historical sites.
Very tight turn from the road into the car park. If one has a bigger car he/she should do some maneuvers to get into the car park. One should provide someone to the door button in order to communicate with the reception in case the receptionist start closing the door before the car is safely into the car park.
Good location It was fine for a night´s stay, but I didn´t think it was such good value for money.
The hotel was of a high standard clean and comfortable. Wifi was good to have and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Location, friendliness of staff.
Insufficient furniture in room. The description on Booked.net is better than the hotel itself.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Most outstanding was the hotel restaurant - for a very reasonable price the food was gourmet quality. I would highly recommend this hotel, located in the heart of a beautiful and historic town.
